Step 1 | Schedule Your Initial Acupuncture Assessment
Step 1 | Schedule Your Initial Acupuncture Assessment
During your initial comprehensive acupuncture assessment, you meet one-on-one with Thomas to discuss your case in a no-pressure environment. This gives you the opportunity to see if Thomas' services are an ideal fit for you, and Thomas will have the opportunity to determine his ability to help your unique case. If you decide that you would like a customized care plan with Thomas, begin by conveniently scheduling an initial acupuncture assessment/treatment online.
First time patients receive a comprehensive acupuncture assessment in order to determine the root cause of discomfort and create a customized care plan. A one time assessment fee of $150.00 applies for the initial acupuncture assessment followed by a 30 minute treatment. Prior to your first visit we ask you complete some brief paperwork. It is recommended to wear or bring a change of loose fitting, comfortable clothing with you for your acupuncture treatments. Avoid caffeine the day of your initial assessment in order to perform accurate blood pressure analysis. It is recommended to consume food and drink at least 1-2 hours prior to your treatments in order to tonify blood and prevent fatigue. Your initial consultation will include blood pressure, pulse, tongue, body diagnosis and medical history.
During your initial acupuncture assessment/treatment your medical history will be discussed, you will complete an intake form either in advance or during your first visit. After your acupuncture assessment, you will receive your first acupuncture treatment custom tailored to focus on the root cause of your physical, chemical, mental, emotional concers; you will be provided with an ideal treatment plan explaining corrective measures. A treatment plan typically includes a nutritional therapy handout with flexibility exercises and includes a clear estimate of the quantity of follow-up acupuncture sessions, and time to completion.
